Announcing the MAPAC Spring Conference

The Spring 2008 Mid-Atlantic Personnel Assessment Consortium (MAPAC) Conference will be held in Baltimore, Maryland on April 23, 24 and 25. Not only will the crab cakes be calling, we have lined up some excellent presentations.

April 23rd will consist of two half-day workshops focusing on On-line Testing (Dave Meissner) and Best Practices in Competency Modeling (Dr. Brian Ruggeberg, Ph.D.).

April 24th will kick off with the MAPAC Business Meeting followed by presentations on Simulation Assessments (Dr. Suzanne Tsacoumis, Ph.D.), Adverse Impact/Uniformed Guidelines (Dr. Philip Bobko), and Best Practices in Training and Experience Questionnaires (Dr. Patrick Curtain, Ph.D. and Dr. Timothy McGonigle, Ph.D.).

The Conference will conclude on April 25th with a presentation on Test Security (Dr. Jamie Mulkey, Ed.D.) followed by a presentation on Succession Planning (Kimberly Helton and Robert Jackson).

The Conference will be held at the Radisson Lord Baltimore in Inner Harbor (Direct Phone Number is 410-659-3096 / Website: http://www.radisson.com/lordbaltimore). The special MAPAC rate for a standard room is $155 per night. (Rooms must be booked by April 8 to receive this special rate.)

Please submit the Conference Registration Form no later than April 10, 2008.
