The timing issues between when I write this and when you receive it make it difficult for me to know how to start so I decided to put it a format that I'm sure you understand. Please select the most appropriate salutation from those listed:

  1. Hope to see you in Chicago!

  2. I really enjoyed seeing you in Chicago! Wasn't it a great conference!

  3. Sorry you weren't able to be in Chicago! You missed a good time and a great conference.

Hope you enjoy this issue. You'll notice that Clyde's Corner is again missing from the ACN. Not to worry, I talked with Clyde recently, he's feeling better and promised he'll be back in the August issue. In addition to the return of Clyde's column, the August issue will have coverage of this year's conference in Chicago.

In the meantime, I hope things are going well for you and that your life is less hectic than mine. One of our professional staff members in Employment & Testing deserted. (Actually he took a very nice job out in Oregon and I wish him all the best BUT until the position is filled and life returns to more normal levels of insanity I will continue to consider his departure desertion.) To make life even more fun, our director has announced his eminent departure for the greener pastures of retirement. So unless I beat the long odds and win the Florida lottery it looks like I will have an interesting summer. (In Florida you are 1,000+ times more likely to be struck by lightning than win the lottery.)

Anyway, I hope you have an interesting and happy summer. As always, I look forward to hearing from you in the very near future!
