IPMAAC in Chicago, June 21 - 25, 1998


By now you should have received your copy of the 1998 IPMAAC Conference Brochure. It's time to make your reservations to attend what is certain to be an exciting and information-packed conference.

The Conference will be held June 21 - 25 at the Holiday Inn City Center in downtown Chicago. As you can see from the Conference Brochure, there will be a wide range of topics and session formats offered. Some of the highlights include:

Pre-Conference Workshops

The program has a full offering of half-day workshops to appeal to all experience levels and interests. Morning sessions include: Job Analysis - Why do it and How should it be done?, Validity Basics and Interpretation , and Performance Planning and Review. Afternoon offerings are: Constructing Valid Performance Dimensions, Personality Assessment, and Using Ratings of Education and Experience to Assess Competencies.

Invited Speakers

The conference will open with a Keynote Address by Dr. Wayne Cascio and be followed on Tuesday and Wednesday by WRIPAC and MAPAC invited speakers Dr. Diane Halpern and Dr. Leaetta Hough. Finally the conference will come to a dynamic close with a presentation by Dr. Frank Landy.

Concurrent Sessions

The remainder of the conference program is filled with sessions presented by our colleagues providing the latest in research, applications of technology, new programs, test development and validation, organizational and management issues, and dealing with the many challenges faced by those in personnel selection.
